Fighting for Victory

David Walker's winning agenda for Rochester

Lower Taxes

David Walker will vote against any attempt to impose a state income or sales tax in New Hampshire, protecting our competitive advantage. He will work to reduce the statewide property tax burden on Rochester homeowners by supporting legislation that requires the state to fully fund its share of education costs rather than shifting that burden to local taxpayers. Walker will also push for the elimination of the Interest and Dividends Tax, putting more money back in the pockets of New Hampshire residents.

Stronger Economy

David Walker will work for an economy that works for everyone by streamlining state government and eliminating wasteful spending that forces costs down to cities and towns. Walker will push for legislation that reduces red tape on small businesses and supports the skilled trades training programs that Rochester's manufacturers need to grow and hire locally.

Education Freedom

David Walker will expand education freedom accounts to give all New Hampshire families the resources to choose the best educational option for their children, whether that's traditional public schools, charter schools, private schools, or homeschooling. He will work to reduce the administrative burden on local school districts that drives up property taxes while ensuring parents have access to transparent information about curriculum and school performance. Walker will also protect parents' fundamental right to be involved in their children's education by requiring schools to notify parents about significant curriculum changes and counseling services.
